Last Train to Berklee

In the summer of 2010, Michael Gomez started a solo project entitled Yours Truly. Originally set up to be primarily a folk project, yet soon changed to a more rock oriented sound after Gomez brought Ryan Alford on as the bassist and backing vocals. Alford and Gomez practiced daily. After their first show, a new member and a new name joined the band.

Chris Cox, former drummer for Electric Seance, a Texas Psychedelic band, auditioned the week after Alford and Gomez's first show. With the addition of Cox, the sound jumped from that of a folk rock duo to a post-folk rock trio.

Keeping a nightly practice schedule to accommodate their non-musical lives, they meet at midnight and jam until five in the morning. Utterly driven to create, they've all come together and now, share a close friendship.

Between the constant blend of musical styles, their work ethic and drive, Last Train to Berklee has only taken the first steps on what promises to be an exciting journey.
