Late For Dinner

In the far distant past of 1992, two El Dorado County High School Teachers, Dave Hamblen and Bruce Bonnello and their wives and some friends were performing at a gig in Coloma, California.  At the end of the show, the Barkeep asked them their name and Bruce replied in his inimitable way.."You can call us anything you want..but just don't call us....."  ..well...you know the rest and the name stuck.

 Over the intervening years various musicians have come and gone and come back again. Rob Brown(Bass Guitar) and Rich Faircourt(Keyboard) joined when the punk rock band "Glock" broke up in 1995 and in 2001 the melodic hands of Michael Lawrence began contributing awesome lead guitar licks. Ricky Long(Drummer) re-entered the music business and joined the band, also in 2001, after a 25 year hiatus from the Southern California folk rock band Stamp Street Collection and Bill Snyder (Keyboardist extrordinaire) of the Original Reggae Band Itsa Wah put down his roots with Late For Dinner in 2008.  Mark Kempster, our Road Manager and 30 year veteran of the Reggae Music Scene, Mixologist Mike Jones, our sound engineer and producer round out Late For Dinner.
