"LATEDUSTER (live review)"

Neatly counterpointing the simplicity of FOG, Andrew Broder returns with fellow Minnesotans Lateduster, serving up electrifying fusioneering explosions which scorch the tedium of the post rock set with sheer ambition and invention. Throwing together jazz rhythms, guitar twang, inspired riffs and Broder's prodigious turntablist flourishes, Lateduster are at once cerebral and visceral, cutting grooves while stroking their chins.
