Late to London

Late to London was born in late 2009 when vocalist Danielle Davino met bass player Brian Ray. Brian and drummer Nic Fugate (long time friends and band mates) had been searching for a new project for quite some time. They were looking for skilled, creative, mature musicians to collaborate with. Brian and Danielle met by chance and had found common ground in the desire to start a new band. The idea was to have everyone who played in the group, be able craft their own niche of each song in the way they best seem fit. It would be purely for the fun of creating together, no other goals other than to enjoy making music. The trio began writing songs together, and soon after, added Dan Faherty to handle the guitar duties. Brian Nic and Dan were old friends as they had played in the band "All Envy Aside" together. That group had some decent success but eventually fell apart and all the members moved into different directions occasionally meeting in different bands together. Brian and Dan played in the "Stationary Bikes" Nic and Brian played several gigs together in "The One2Many Band" and various other jazz/blues/rock projects. When Brian and Nic came accross Danielle she was also looking for a new band after playing in "Halo Effect" and "Infinity is She". After a few jams, it seemed to be a good fit with everyone and it was decided the writing would continue and borrow from any and all forms of music, as well as cultural and visual art forms. The songs are simple but catchy and allow for each members' own ideas to have a great influence over each moment of music but yet allow the music to take its own shape. The band hopes the music will make you feel and make you think.
