Launched in 2004 by Latin Prince (LP), National Director of Urban Mix Show at Universal Motown, has become the first and largest meeting ground for DJ's in the world. With chapters in the United States, Croatia, UK, France, Spain and several others across the globe, garners over a million hits a month. With 20 million total hits last year and 35-40 thousand unique visitors per month, it has become the most explosive DJ Movement in Music. The Bum Squad DJ'z have their own magazine but have also been featured in international publications including Croatian Cosmopolitan, and Playboy.

Featuring the most successful and established "Sound Bank" in music, allows DJ's to quickly expose the hottest tracks directly from the artist, which generates significant radio play and breaks their albums. "DJs are the backbone of the music industry," says LP, referring to the fundamental role that DJs play in gaining exposure for artists' music. also acquires exclusive tracks; including ones from hip-hop and R&B heavyweights Eminem , Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, The Game, and Common, and even more exclusives are added daily. Once available for Bum Squad DJs to download and spin at various clubs and events, the tracks gain such immense exposure, which in turn equals huge NUMBERS for the records.

The Bum Squad Djz threw their Second Annual Bum Squad Djz Family Reunion in July 2007. The Bum Squad DJz reunion is an annual event in which LP wanted to honor the DJ's by treating them to four days of exclusive treatment from artists, record labels and corporate sponsors, allowing the DJ'z up close and personal, drops, interviews, exclusive new music and a first look at new product before anyone else has a chance to experience it. The Bum Squad brand is creating more and more exclusive opportunities for the dj collective with some of the DJ's getting endorsement deals with the likes of Addidas, Scion and the official Bum Squad Headphones courtesy of Skull Candy.
