I've loved songwriting and arranging music since the age of four when I started playing the piano. When I write I see the music video that would go perfectly with its interpretation. I love recording original music for independent artists, student films and recording studios, musically and vocally. Recently I did work with Tim Frantz at Mountain Dog Recording Studio in Ojai. What an amazing experience that was. My body of work has taken me from a local band named The Blue Rose, to the soap opera Rancho Santa Maria, composing for student films, to being part of the orchestrial ensemble in the play Working at PCPA Theaterfest under the leadership of John Johnson, acting and singing in Little Shop of Horrors at Santa Barbara Elite Theater, and most recently Musical Director for a community concert series in Ventura County to promote the Arts called Four Ladies and a Gentleman. We travelled doing Broadway songs that I arranged for each artist and accompanied them live. I've competed in many beauty pageants, winning four local titles and finishing 1st runner-up to Miss California State and a top-ten finalist Miss California which provided scholarship money to pursue my career of performing. I was also awarded California State Artist of the Year. My influences have ranged from Sade to Teena Marie; from Aerosmith to Stevie Wonder; from Sam Harris to Diana Krall. In 2000 I found my love for Latin Jazz. I had done country, broadway, adult contemp, jazz and rock, but this seemed to fit me like a glove. Everything I touch seems to always have a latin taste to it. So I went with it. Its soothing, that's what I want you to feel. My music is what I want you to remember.
