LatterRain

Halifax based pop/rock group LatterRain has been touring and recording independently for several years. This band got their start playing for youth groups, camps, and conferences. LatterRain has a strong desire to get involved in the lives of young people whether thats through music, fun, or just talking.

LatterRain was formed in 2001 by three brothers, guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist Matt Riendeau, bassist Josh Riendeau, drummer Josiah Riendeau, former members of Liquid6, along with long-time friend lead vocalist Craig Baltzer. They were later joined by guitarist and vocalist Aaron Rogers, former member of Halifax-based rock band Saber Tooth Mountain Chickens.

LatterRains debut CD Something Real, which was released in early 2005, is a compilation of both early songs of the band as well as those that were created while recording. Since the release of the album, the bands schedule has been busy and doesnt look like it will ease up any time in the near future. Many opportunities have opened-up for us as a band, explains Josiah. Our prayer and desire through all of this is that our music and concerts will challenge people of all ages to give up everything and dive into a deep relationship with Christ. Were excited to see where God will take us next.

LatterRain has seen an extensive series of live performances across the Country including performances with Reuben Morgan, Tree 63, Salvador, Joy Williams, as well as support shows with The Contact, Three Season Ant, and other Canadian acts.
