Launch Control

We are Launch Control, a 3 piece Punk Rock band from Reading. We know that there’s nothing worse than reading endless fake bio’s written by bands in the 3rd person, so we’re going to give you an overview of our band in our own words.

Influenced by bands such as MXPX, Rise Against and Lagwagon, we write fast, catchy, powerful Punk Rock songs that you can sing along to and that hopefully have the substance to make you want to listen again and again. We love catchy choruses, but we don’t want to write throwaway pop songs.

We have spent the last year playing a few low key gigs and working on our debut EP Cardiac Arrest. Cardiac Arrest is a 6 song EP that we are incredibly proud of. The EP was recorded and produced at Whitehouse Studios and comes with an 8 page booklet of lyrics and specially commissioned artwork. We love it, and we hope that you will too.

We are releasing Cardiac Arrest ourselves on our own label, Snake in the grass records. As well as physical copies, the songs will be available for download from all major MP3 retailers including iTunes and to stream on Spotify and Deezer.

To promote our EP we will be booking live shows across the UK. We put everything we have into making our live shows energetic and inclusive. We use LCD screens and loop pedals on stage to play videos and samples that relate to the songs and that work to create a fresh and engaging gig experience.
