Launch Day is a Southern California-based well-oiled machine of post-punk rock, started in 2009 by Andrew. Now a four-piece dripping with talent, Launch Day adores the live show, and truly thrives on stage. Our songs are varied -- we have dynamic, humor-filled tracks a la Weezer; roiling, noise-filled art jams reminiscent of Sonic Youth and No Age; face-melting rock stomps that tip their hat to Jack White; and have been known to turn old baptist hymns into fist-thumping punk rock anthems. Despite our influences, we are wholly original, specializing in producing high-energy live performances that engage, entertain, and, most of all, rock.
