Laura Matthews

Laura is singer and keyboard player, Clementine Pillai plays violin and Chris Jones plays guitar: 6 string and 12 string.
Laura was singing in a 'girl' band called Virginia who did the London gig scene and had success on British and US radio, as well as Northern Irish TV.
Laura, ever the songwriter, began playing at The Island, a venue in North West London, where producer and arranger Ken Gibson came to every week. He decided to record many of the talented artists there and put up 3 albums of The Island Experiment onto Itunes. Laura has got a song in each album.
Laura met Chris and Clementine there and before long they were either bringing the house down or causing outpourings of tears! They frequently play on the smart club and party circuit in London and interweave classic songs by The Eagles and Jacques Brel with their own.
