Whether it’s the memory of highway signs on a restless drive out west, or the anticipation of catching a stranger’s eye, Laura Secker’s songs detail both the scars and redemptions of life. Bandmates Seth Brown (drums), Bryan Washam (guitar) and Marc Kannenberg (bass) bring crafted musical styling and polished performance to Laura’s unassuming command of the stage.
This 4-song booking demo sample tracks from the band’s recent release “Send me a Letter.” For a musical anchor think Grace Potter with a guitar, or Sarah Harmer fronting the Wallflowers. Laura Secker’s tunes fall between rock, indie & alt country and tell the stories of a life not less ordinary, but more dreamed and designed than most would do.
