"Make It Change Tour Shows You How To Chase Your Dreams"

A 55 city tour that began on Craigslist.

How far would you travel to chase your dream? That is the same question singer/songwriter Laurelle, and musician and producer, 3PLE asked themselves when they discussed creating a 55 city tour which has since become the Make It Change Tour.

“I’m here in New York, I’m young, the time is now and let’s just be ambitious and let’s do it.”

“The idea started in 2015…it came from this movie called [The] Samaritan with Samuel L. Jackson and it starts with the quote ‘if you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep on being what you’ve always been, nothing changes unless you make it change,’ and that [quote] literally changed my life.”

3PLE and Laurelle only met in early 2017, but their bond grew quickly which led to them deciding they should tour the country with their music. “Suddenly we became close friends and it just made sense,” said 3PLE. “We’re at the same point in our lives that we just wanted to make music so I said hey let’s do it and she was like awesome.”

Laurelle then explained, “we were writing music in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and said before we start I have this idea. I want to run it by you because I know you’re tired of doing the same old thing, and then he said how do you feel about going on tour?”

At the time, Laurelle was working a full-time job and using her non-working hours to write and create music. Yet, after some consideration, she came around to the idea and began to prepare for what life would look like. “I’m here in New York, I’m young, the time is now and let’s just be ambitious and do it.”

The duo did just that and created an Indiegogo page where they raised funds to kick-start their tour.

Since the conclusion of the campaign, they began their tour and have performed in Georgia, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

In order to keep their fans and supporters updated they record daily vlogs and post on Instagram to show just how far they’ve gone.

“We’re going to vlog every single day,” said Laurelle. “Every single day people will be able to watch us and see us interact with other artists and bands…The most important part about our vlog is to show people how it all began. People talk about all the time, when they’re famous, how they came from nothing but people don’t get to see it…it’s showing that yes, you can start with what you have because what you have is plenty.

The Make It Change Tour ends on December 5th, 2017. If you weren’t able to support during the Indiegogo campaign that’s alright, they have an additional donation page that you can use to help them continue to manifest their dream. - Melvin Taylor II

"THE INSPIRATION FROM LAURELLE AND 3PLE AND THE MAKE IT CHANGE TOUR LIVE SHOW"

Laurelle and 3ple have embarked on a 55 city tour. This inspired me greatly. I have always wanted to go on tour but never thought it possible. That was then and this is now. I was thinking they were touring the state but no, they are touring the mother*&^%$#@ country!!

I even have a name for my tour it’s the “barefoot” tour. Barefoot on a bus tour …I want to just take my shoes off, jump on a bus, and tour the country. I never really thought about planes stuff like that. A bus and some songs. Keep it simple you know.

They’ve saved money, booked 55 cities and found a place to stay in every city already. I met them on the 7th night of the tour. This is the epitome of hustling for what you want. They just got my juices flowing in and I wanted to know more.

"“Speaking In Tongues” Has Us Hyped For Laurelle’s New Album"

In light of Laurelle’s debut EP, “The Journey” the DMV native has decided to hype the album by releasing the track “Speaking in Tongues” for fans to enjoy leading up to the album. The song is a seductive hip-hop and R&B fusion that showcases the powerful yet sultry tones of Laurelle’s voice that is stunning and alluring like no other. Complimented by the lyrical talent of Manhattan artist Dreamcast McFly, who spits an equally impressive bar for a bridge, the passion levels are beyond that necessary to leave fans more eager to listen to Laurelle’s work than ever before. In contrast to Laurelle’s first track “All Eyes on You” in 2016, this has shown more seductive sides in her music, in contrast to the hard-hitting, emotional banger of the former. With that said, many are looking forward to both styles of the amazing artist being present in the upcoming album, that already proves to be a classic. - See Santana

"Laurelle Drops "Speaking In Tongues" As A Sneak Peak To Her Album"

Laurelle’s debut EP, “The Journey”, drops on June 1st, 2018. However, the DMV native has left fans eager for the release of the album by releasing the track “Speaking in Tongues” weeks before. Featuring the talent of Manhattan artist Dreamcast McFly, who lends his lyrical genius to the track in expert fashion, the song showcases the powerful yet sultry tones of Laurelle’s voice that is complimented by the seductive R&B and hip-hop fusion of the instrumental. The passion conveyed in even the simplest of lyrics is enough to cement the artist as a true talent. In contrast to the powerful, hard-hitting composition that “All Eyes on You” was back in 2016, Laurelle has shown a more amorous side in her music that is more than welcomed. In light of the amazing track that “Speaking in Tongues” shows itself to be, one can only lie in wait until the promising debut EP is released.
