Bio
Lauren was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1989.
At an early age she picked up her mother's love of music and was even humming melodies before she could speak. Her mom first heard her trying to mimic an Ariel song from," The Little Mermaid," and encouraged her to find her voice.
Laurens first public accolades came when she participated in a Talent Show in 2000 by winning 3rd Place in The Childrens Singing Showcase. This was a monumental achievement and the first time she sang in front of a huge crowd.
Since then Lauren has performed in various venues. Her most memorable to date was for President Bush's visit to Livonia MI in 2003 where she performed the "National Anthem."
Lauren also loves to write poems and has written 4 solo songs and collaborated on 2 additional songs. She also taught herself to play guitar.
Lauren is also very dedicated to maintaining her academic studies to the highest standard; as this is a promise she made to her mother in order to pursue her singing career. She has been awarded the "Who's Who of American High School Students", which acknowledges the top 5% academically across the nation. She was also awarded "The All-American Scholar Award" in 2004.
Lauren hopes that her music inspires and has meaning for you as it does her.
