Bio
Lauren Ashley Bishop is a southern belle originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. She has performed comedy in venues such as The Improv, Zanies, The Ice House, The Lakeshore Theatre, Gotham Comedy Club in New York, and colleges across the nation.
You might recognize Lauren from one of the numerous national commercials she made you laugh in this year: for Mini Baby Bel Cheese, Arby's, or performing standup comedy for Midol's newest campaign. She has voiced countless radio and TV ads, including her favorite, Popeye's Mama Slap Chicken. The micro-site for KFC she performed in, chooseyoursauce.com, won a 2007 Webby Award.
On stage she has appeared in Second City's Romeo & Juliet Musical @ Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues @ The Apollo Theatre, & in the National Broadway Tour of Scrooge, The Musical with Richard Chamberlain. Lauren is a graduate of Northwestern University, and a proud member of SAG, AFTRA, and AEA.
