26 year old singer/songwriter Lauren Farrell just released her debut album, 'Hand Made Escape' this spring. She has been writing songs constantly since the age of 15 and has performed in multiple countries and hemispheres in the last 8 years.
Her material is influenced by artists such as; Alana Davis,
Mason Jennings, Mazzy Star, Malcolm Holcombe, Lucinda
Williams, and many others.
Lauren's music embraces the connection of melodies to lyrics, creating emotionally strong songs built on experiences, truths, and contradictions.
They are fueled by a search of beauty through human
relationships, the vastness of nature, and the creativity that occurs in response. She is highly inspired by travel and her songs embrace the wanderer's lifestyle that she has chosen, making music in between whitewater raft guide jobs.
She has won over many audiences with her unique voice and honest lyrics, and is currently spending time in the Southeast. She is excited to share her music with new audiences, constantly blurring the lines between pop
