Lavell Jones (Born September 21, 1991 in Columbus, Georgia) is a “rapper”/multi-talented musician from El Paso, Texas. His musical influences consist of artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Lauryn Hill, John Lennon, and Pharrell Williams. He is a member of the “Rare Individuals” along with Josh Brown, and Derrell Peoples & Andy C. of D.N.A.
I am 20 years old, young! I’m still developing and mastering my craft, don’t get me wrong, I feel I am well ahead of others that are in my age group. Not conceit, just truth. But as I continue to make more music, more mixtapes, EP’s, albums, etc. you will see the growth in me. My future is in God’s hands. If He wants me to continue to make music, He’ll give me the inspiration to do so. I can’t rely on my own will and force it. I truly believe my voice is to be heard, I was just given the ability to do so through music.
