L.A. WITCH is an all-girl, 3-piece garage band from LA. Their unique sound is inspired by bands/musical genres native to California – surf, psychedelic, punk, country – but with a darker twist. The music speaks for itself – passionate and from the heart, it hits like a raw nerve - vulnerable and strong in the same breath. Masculine yet feminine, simple and tonally complex at times, gentle but with a steely edge. These discordant attributes reflect a band that is truly different, a sound and feeling that is not easily captured. Their live shows are intense and unpredictable, full of hypnotic drones and heavy beats that suspend you in a state much like when one begins to drift off into a heavy sleep, so far down that nothing can reach you.
