Hello, we are Lazaris Pit from Raleigh North Carolina and we are a power trio that channel “Big Dawg Meditation Music”. What does that sound like? Well, sometimes its fuzzy. Sometimes it’s fast. Sometimes is funky and sometimes it’s ambient. We do know that it is at all the times groovy and guaranteed to get the party started.
Our influences range from classic pop from all eras mixed with high energy rock n roll from the 70’s and 80’s filtered through a psychedelic lens ala the Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd. With this in the batter, we have cooked up an incredibly unique blend of tunes that feel familiar while at the same time sounding wholly original.
Given this, we feel that we have that versatile quality to fit in with everything from groovy funk shows, to psychedelic odessies all the way down to the DIY basement punk shows: as long as there are fans of “getting down” in the building, they will be entertained by the rousing sounds of Lazaris Pit.
We have played a number of festivals, big and small, as well as on College campuses and venues throughout the Southeast, from New York City down to New Orleans, with countless stops in between. We look forward in working with y’all in booking events that are successful musically, spiritually, and of course, financially.
