Lazy Daisy is a Dutch rock band from area of Zwolle, The Netherlands formed in 1998. While they were mostly considered as a cover band in their early years, their sound progressively evolved into something more complex and experimental, as a result that they are often coined today as an indie rock band. Lazy Daisy has always seemed more curious, more willing to incorporate traditionally revered sounds like rock & roll, blues and soul into their own music.

Bo Hudson: "The funny thing about writing songs is that when I come up with a guitar piece with a sudden rhythm in the car, and while we're working out the song with the band it turns out the whole other way than I expected. We're experimenting a lot while writing songs. Sometimes writing songs do indeed take a long time because of that, but when it's done we are mostly super excited."

Last year, September 2010, Lazy Daisy released a new album called Space Hippies & Blues Cowboys. The band recorded and released their music through their own Tube Tones Records label that was founded in 2007; this was followed by their earlier release, the album Looking In From The Outside back in 2005. All the tracks where recorded in their own studio. The mastering, mixing and producing where done by H.J. Bökkers (Jovink en de Voederbietels) of Studio Bökkers Heino and Serge Epskamp of Casco Songs.
