Founded August 2012 in Athens, GA, Lazy Locomotive is a 5 piece that has a very unique sound many folks have described as a "Jungle Ruckus". Heavily influenced by latin and afro-cuban rhythms, but still holding funk and jazz improv very near to it's heart; Lazy Locomotive is a Rock and Roll band rooted in redefining the limits of musical exploration and telling the stories which unfold when good friends get together.
