With in three years of playing small venues in Toronto, The Lazy Sundays has cultivated a cult like groups of fans. Having such a large group of fans has led to almost every show to be a success, sold out shows, great audience feed back etc. With such a unique style and sound (self titled blue-rah blue for bluegrass, rah for rock), The Lazy Sundays is one of the best indie bands in town!
In 2000 Guitarist/ Vocalist James Craig brought together Sam Wellborn and Andrew Lawrance to form the Lazy Sundays. By 2002 Guitarist/Vocalist Justin Calyx was a full member of this Toronto based rock band. Stephan Macy we picked up in Montreal playing a few gigs, wanting to change out sound we started to play with him when we were in Montréal, eventually Stephans parents moved to Toronto, and now he is part of the band!
For now the Lazy Sundays are playing small venues in Toronto, and doing stupid stuff so, see you all on the dance floor kids!
