This Songman is steeped in a tradition of Real music. LB has been singing ever since sound first passed through his lips and, with his rich range of Soul,R&B and Gospel influences, LB's voice is reminiscent of some of music's greatest, from Sam Cooke and Al Green to Gerald Levert.
Born and raised in Kansas City, LB has been mesmerizing hometown fans for the past three-plus years with his rich sound and passionate performances. In addition to headlining Soul Thankful, a concert benefiting the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and the Buck O'Neil Education Center, LB has graced the same stage as R&B crooner Robin Thike, After 7,Tony Terry,Trey Songz, En vogue and Shanice. LB is a regular performer in the Blue Room, the legendary jazz club in Kansas City's Historic 18th and Vine Jazz District.
After sharpening his skills locally, LB is ready to take his Soul Show on the road. With his debut album The Experience, slated for release in September 2008, audiences worldwide are in store for a musical treat that will only leave them clamoring for the follow-up.
The Experience is truly a labor of love, and those long hours in the studio resulted in an album that is sure to be deemed an instant classic. From the 60's-soulful "Lady Helper" to the hip hop-heavy "Moved On," LB glides effortlessly between styles and provides a track for everyone to groove to.
