Tshwane born singer and guitarist, Lebohang Mpendulo Mahlangu, is at what looks like the beginning of the fruitful phase of her solo career.
She found her voice and path in music as part of a band called ROOTS.
And although the group disbanded due to other commitments, she kept her focus and picked herself up and kept the music playing until something started giving.
She goes by the name Le Mpendulo and it looks like people are beginning to listen and a fan base is brewing.
She is yet to record an album but is performing around the country introducing the masses to her work. - SABC News

Bio
Lebogang Mahlangu, Stage name Le Mpendulo as known to my fans and colleagues in the music arena. I was born and raised in Tshwane (Mamelodi). While attending, prior to completing my metric at Phateng Secondary School, I started to realize my talent and the inevitable calling in music.
An acoustic guitar was donated to me by a family member who cultivated a lot of creativity in me. I composed and registered my music with SAMRO for the first time.I then found a band later known as RROOTS, consisting of myself and five other members. We performed in and outside Mamelodi and built a name for ourselves. Unfortunately due to career commitments, my fellow members left to pursue their dreams in different universities. Finding that I was left alone, I continued to compose and perform solo, of cause with their blessing at hand.
As our global icon Nelson Mandela stated (education is a tool one can use to change the world), I registered with Tshwane University of Technology to pursue my other passion, Graphic Design. I am proud to say that I have completed my final year despite the ever busy schedule between writing music, improving my guitar skills, performing, and tertiary work and of cause home chores N.B Hard work and determination Moves Mountains.
