Bio

It’s no doubt why her music has already been described as “spiritually rewarding. While her earlier influences lie in pop and jazz, this chanteuse can undoubtedly cross over borders without any difficulty.

An accomplished singer/songwriter, Lea has had major song placements for the movies “Cheaper By The Dozen” and “She Drives me Crazy”, TV shows as “Dawson’s Creek”, “Party Of Five”, “Summerland”, Felicity” DVD collections,“North Shore, and many more.

In 2004, Lea won the National Songwriting Competition at the prestigious Canadian Music Week in Toronto. She was the Grand Prize winner with her song “Ugly” which was picked out of the other 11 finalists and thousands of entries throughout Canada. As a result, she released her album, “Miserably Happy” on her own label, Sweet Life Music, nationally distributed through Dep/Universal for Canada. She was also awarded the Artistic Achievement Award from Concordia Fine Arts- (the university where she studied and attained a BA in music and jazz studies.)

Lea has been performing since the age of 11 throughout Canada and abroad. Some of the more notable shows have been at the VIPER room,(LA) the Bitter End, the Mint, Place des Arts and the MGM Las Vegas, to name a few. She has had numerous television appearances and considerable radio support in Canada. She also recorded and released an Italian jazz album (featuring Italian language standards, recorded with the Bourassa Trio in Montreal). In addition, Lea also sings in four languages, Italian, Spanish, French and English.

Alongside her stunning voice and enduring commitment to her craft, there is no doubt that this
“chanteuse” will produce another great musical chapter.

***In Addition, Lea is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and presently teaches Yoga Voice
Workshops and performs Kirtans in Canada and USA.
