Buy this cd. Lynn's voice reminds me a little of Kitty Wells, but she's not a clone by any means. Great songs, excellent musicians, and Lynn sing with real honesty and emotion. If you're tired of country music as it stands today, this cd will take you back to when country was country. Bob Wills is smiling down at Lynn from Heaven.

Lynn,
Great cuts on your CD. I enjoyed it very much. Back in the Swing is a great tune with some good musicians. Congratulations and good luck.
I wish you much success.

Lynn handles all the songs on her CD with ease and style. This is a nice collection of music and a good introduction to this talented vocalist, who we hope to see more of in the future.

Bio

Lynn Logan is a Texas born entertainer whose vocal abilities emerged early in life. She honed her voice while singing in the choir at her church. Lynn’s voice reflects feeling and emotion. She believes that her music will speak to the soul of the listener and, that is exactly what she hopes to accomplish. With a burning desire, Lynn began to make her dream a reality. A friend encouraged her to find a band and that’s just what she did. The Justin Tyme band from Houston, Tx. contacted Lynn and she was hired as the lead singer for the band. After a couple of years, Lynn took a break from the music scene for a while to raise her children full time. But, the desire to perform never left her. After her children were grown, Lynn met her now husband, Keith. They had become friends and Keith was a bass player. He was freelancing and turned Lynn on to some gigs. Lynn was playing drums at this time (another talent she has). After Keith heard her sing, he wanted to form a band for Lynn specifically. With Keith’s support (and God’s will), Lynn was able to produce her debut CD, Back In The Swing Of Things. Over the years, she has learned and performed many different styles of music. After hearing these songs, written by Benny McArthur, a member of George Strait's - Ace In The Hole Band, Lynn knew that traditional country and western swing was the type of music that she wanted to do. Her earliest influences include Bob Wills, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Asleep At The Wheel, The River Road Boys, Tanya Tucker, The Judds and Patty Loveless. Her voice is a blend of all of the above with a touch of blues added. Lynn knows that her voice is a true blessing from God. Her faith and trust in God is what keeps her focused and determined to make her dreams come true.
Lynn has many accomplishments under her belt. She and the band won the Colgate Country Showdown locals in 2004, Lynn was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year for the Texas Music Awards in 2005 and, had four nominations for the Academy of Western Artists Awards 2005. Lynn has made T.V. and radio appearances. She also held a spot for six months in the top 20 on the western swing charts.
Although Lynn and the band can do a variety of music for any occasion, her specialty is western swing, traditional country and, gospel. Lynn would like to make her next project a gospel CD.
Lynn and her band is currently playing in the Houston and surrounding areas but, is anxious to tour America and ultimately, the world.
Lynn is available as a single, duo, trio or, full band. Lynn takes the stand with Ray Benson (her favorite western swing group) that, "western swing ain't going nowhere". In fact, she believes that it is on it's way back up and, she wants to be part of it.
