Leading Story was founded in 2008 by two friends who love creating music. Their music is lyrical and melancholy at times. It will take you on a journey from deep depths to soring heights and everywhere inbetween. Some of their influences include The Fray, Augustana, Coldplay, U2, Band of Horses, The Cure, Death Cab for Cutie,The Strokes, Kings of Leon, and many more. Since the release of their debut album, Chasing Me (2010), their music has been played on local radio station 91.7, in the Galleria Mall, on Pandora, and many other online radio stations. They play shows everywhere from acoustic coffee houses to festivals. The most recent festival was the Deep Ellum Arts Festival in Dallas, TX.
