Drawing on indie-pop and electro, Leaf House proposes an instinctive kind of music blending various musical styles. Both delicate and nervous, their dream pop is inspired by strange creatures such as Caribou, Yeasayer, Beach House or Animal Collective, ranging from Devendra Banharts sweetness to Vampire Weekends energy. Led by powerful vocals, the tribal pop-saturated melodies produce a music drowned in reverb which takes you into a waking dream.
Their first LP , Wood Signs We Found has introduced the beginnings of their universe surfing on the new indie-pop wave.
Their shows in France and Belgium have already convinced the fans of numerous other bands (Erevan Tusk, Baxter Dury, Active Child, AU, Rainbow Arabia,) and the audience at various venues (Micro festival, Nuits du Botanique, Caf de la danse, International,).
After their arrival to the Jaune Orange label, 2013 promises the release of new productions, including a 4-track EP, due to be released in March 2013
2014 is the big year for Leaf House. A brand new 12 track Album, mature and powerful will be released in Belgium in may, and in France in september on 2 license label and 2 major distribution in 7 countries.
The famous english music magazine NME as already talk about the band, after the release of the music video of Feel Safe, a new track from the upcomming album.
