League of Xtraordinary Gentlemen

Most commonly known to their peers as Jonathan Rivera, Andre D. Burgess and O'Neil M. Smith. Omari Milli, Dre 1 and McNeil became a trio of Barbadian power packed talent known as LXG or the League of Xtraordinary Gentlemen that has been burning up the airwaves since their first release, “JAH LIVE” off their premiere Album entitled “Social Representation”.

Milli, the lyrical craftsman, has great delivery and tremendous stage presence. He was motivated and heavily influenced by the Toronto hip-hop culture and the art of rapping. At the age, 13 he made his debut in a local stage show call Africari in Eglinton. As a member of a local rap group called Militant Menaces he wrote and co- produced projects, including the group first album, for Three Kings Studio, Toronto.

On his return to Barbados, he immediately was inducted into the 2003 Barbados Hip Hop Festival where he placed third in the freestyle competition. He remained a guest performer in 2004, 2005 and in 2006 at the AND1 Tournament, he opened for Lloyd Banks of the G Unit at the Afterdark Night Club.

Dre 1 is a determined artist with fantastic innovative ideas coupled with a desire to be the best at his craft. He grew up on the South Side of Jamaica Queens, New York where he was influenced and inspired by the message sent to inner city youths by the Rap and Hip Hop culture of new comers, Lost Boyz. However, his rap career only begun a year ago when he competed in the Barbadian free style competition “Hit Island 16 Shot”.
McNeil spent most of his life in Los Angeles. This songwriter/performer closed a national distribution deal for his groups’ album with Vision Records of Miami Florida and co-produced and edited two independent videos for the group Warheads. He assisted in building a production company and Record label for the Warheads.
He has performed as opening act for such artists as Busta Rhymes, Naz and Pharoe Monck including a30 city American tour with Redman and Method Man on the Black Out 2000 Tour. Off tour he settled in at the House of Blues on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles California.
His move to Barbados brought new beginnings as he released two singles with a local Quartet called “Ambionx”. He followed the successes of these singles with a locally shot video, which runs on a local video show called, “Roaming”.
McNeil’s talent shows his obvious passion for his music and his drive and tenacity to accomplish his goals. He is well seasoned and very versatile in his craftsmanship.
LXG formed right after the local free style competition “Hit Island 16 Shot. Destiny has played a great part in bringing these three powerful Hip Hop specialists together culminating in the group making tremendous strides within a year to become one of the most exciting and captivating rap groups on the island. They Performed at Tims on De Highway, Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium for Youth Mania, The annual Hip Hop Festival (2006) at Olympus Theater and at The Ship Inn Nightclub with the Band “Strategy”.

The group partnered, co- wrote and co-produced with Caribbean Records (B’dos) Ltd on this first album.

They believe in music and the power that is has to cross channels touching a world of people regardless of their race, creed or culture. Spreading the message of love, consciousness and prosperity through music and relentlessly trying to improve the values of life in theirs and other societies.
