"Re: Lea Herman's Website"

WOW- She's great! I listened to all her stuff on the site, and I LOVED it. Her style of music is much closer to what I normally listen to- the song Driving Back kind of reminded me of Alison Krauss- and the song Chicago, w/ the piano was just beautiful (I'm a Chicago girl myself, so I really loved it). The song I Know This Rain was heavier and emotional and right up my alley musicwise.. Her singing voice is BEAUTIFUL- I'll definitely be looking out for her music in the future.

I love her music...I've been trying to spread the word about her music down here in San Diego!

Lea performs mainly in Los Angeles, and travels to other parts of the continent for shows and opening gigs(ex. The Rex Theater, Pittsburgh--opening for Joe Bonamassa; Santa Barbara Celebrity Golf Tournament, The Journalism and Women Symposium, Kananaskis, Ontario).
Her first full album, a collaboration with Tom Weir (Grammy award winning mixer/engineer) and Milo Decruz (Duncan Sheik, Ryan Adams) releases in April 2008. Her song, "Think For Each Other," from this debut album, can be found on the "Moondance Alexander" Soundtrack (released in 2007 by 20th Century Fox).

Graduated from Northwestern University (Chicago) with a degree in classical singing. Moved to Los Angeles to work as a songwriter/lyricist--first a gig through Dreamworks Publishing for the Japanese label, Avex.

Lea is currently seeking management, and recording and publishing deals.
