Bio

Leah Jones, her unique and unmistakably distinct voice - its strength united with compassion - captivates your listening heart and accompanies you into God's presence. Leah was raised on the simplicity of life and feels that her calling is not to just make music, but to communicate the reality of Christ. Armed with a great appreciation for where she has been and the realization that she is only as good as her daily communication with the Father, success to Leah is simply to follow God's heart. Leah strives to make the atmosphere of her concerts as warm and comfortable as your own living room. The conviction of her heart is to provide music for the church. Choosing songs that will minister is her policy. "My music is for people who need Jesus, and we ALL need Jesus."

Born and raised in Monroe, IN, she was singing at a very young age, participating in vocal contests, talent shows, and all the high school music programs provided, along with a recording project. She has trained with various talented vocal coaches and teachers, even getting the opportunity to travel to the Nashville, Tennessee area for some training. Leah feels that the journey of her music is only just beginning. "I felt God's calling to sing at a young age, and He's still calling!"

Leah married Michael Adam Jones in July of 2004. Michael is the Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor at Adams Central High School. When not participating in music-related events like concerts, weddings, or compiling songs for her CD project, Leah enjoys spending time with Mike and all the events that his work entails. Perhaps even more important than her ministry of music are the seeds that she's planting in her child. Leah is the mother of a perceptive and entertaining six-year-old, Mary Lynn. Leah, who has a degree in American Sign Language and works full time as an interpreter at Norwell High School, loves to teach Mary sign language as well as songs that she often joins 'mom' on during concerts and events.

"Much of who we become is shaped by the people God places in our lives. We are all a product of the love and wisdom we gather from family and friends. I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who daily impact me in such life-altering ways."

Leah's hope is to simply be faithful to the One who has blessed her with life, love, family, and music.
