Her voice has the edge of Tina Turner and her music is outside the box like Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers & Lenny Kravitz.

Lea Sweet, native of San Francisco singer-songwriter is known for her ability to sing Rock, Soul, R&B & Country and produce all genres of music. She has create new fusion of rock and soul on her upcoming CD “Satisfaction” which includes remixes of The Rolling Stone and James Brown the God Father of Soul.

Promoters have said Lea has made her own cross-over genres. Her new album sounds outside the box like Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers & Lenny Kravitz and her voice has the edge of Tina Turner.

"Her voice sounds edgy, raw and rough on her version of "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" and "It's A Man's World." She has her own unique soulful sound on her singles "Honey" and "Baby Blues," said promoter Diane DiMaggio.

The singer-songwriter, who has performed all over the US and internationally with such musical legends as Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Jimi Jamison, "Loverboy" Mike Reno, Bobbie Kimball and many others.

A nine-time nominee for the 2013, 2011 and 2008 Bay Area Black Music Awards and the Music Academy of America. Lea received Best New Country Artist, Best Jazz, Best Neo-Soul, Best Album, Entertainer Of The Year, Live Performance, Bay Area Verge's Award and Image Award.

Lea's early influences includes Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Minnie Ripperton and Prince.

After releasing 3 CD's and 2 videos, performing internationally and selling 10,000 CD's on her own, Lea learned her soul was no stranger to music after learning her family roots while seating on a porch in Macon, GA. Lea’s Father, uncles, Little Richard, James Brown and Otis Redding all grew up together in her grandmother’s house and rehearsed and performed in the entertainment tent in her grandmother's backyard in Macon, GA.

• Feb 2012, Lea Sweet released "The Lea Sweet Show" a show where she interviews legends and nominated composers, producers and singers. First season is currently airing on Comcast Channel 28 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm. Lea interviewed legends such as Composer Steve Cropper who wrote "Sitting on the Doc of the Bay" with Otis Redding, Composer Earl Klugh, Lead Singer Mary Davis from SOS Band, Producer Robert Raab Stephenson and more.

• October 2011, 1st Country Artist to sing at the Tennessee Walking Horse Competition at Santa Rosa Fairgrounds.

• August 2011, Pre-release of Music Video "Can I Kiss Away A Broken Promise" Mimosa Champagne Bar, Oakland, CA.
