"Le Bien"

The Ticket…

Further proof that “2” remains the magic number when it comes to dance acts, Simon and
Leon’s blend of electro-pop, synthy cheese and rocked-out guitars has produced many sweaty smiles....
...their EP was a fine three-card trick, showcasing their well-honed ability to nail down body-popping grooves while raising a ripe amount of merry hell......
...it’s the duo’s live passion that will really bring people to their side.

Bio

Formed in May 2005 by Simon and Leon, the band has developed its sound to date through long periods of experimenting followed by short periods of performance. The name is based on a franglish pun, one that pays homage to French influences including Daft Punk, Superdiscount, and Belgian rockers Soulwax. In 2006 the band released their debut three track sampler, entitled Nous Sommes, on their label bienmusique. Since then, they have played as often as they can confirming their status as regulars on the capitals clubbing scene with numerous appearances at the legendary Backlash nights, 52 funk, and Big Dish Go among others.

2006 also saw them feature as part of the DEAF Festival, the Fringe festivals Spiegel Tent performances and the Hard Working Class Heroes, the television advertisement for which featured their track Something. This summer Le Bien are featured in several festivals around Ireland including Garden Party - June 9th and Electric Picnic - Sept 1st, for which they have recently expanded their line-up with Peter on percussion and Karl on bass.
