THE BOMBER KATIKI PRESENTATION.

Artist Musician, Composer, Songwriter, Arranger, Interpret, Guitarist, Bassist and Singer, this phenomenal character was born towards the end of 1963 in the full heart of central Africa, exactly in Bangui the capital of the Central African Republic.

Modest and humble, he embraced the semi-professional music as rythmical guitarist in summer of 1979, discovered when he still was young high-school pupil by Bassinet the band's leader of the Central African group "Vibro-Jazz".

And it was within this framework that he met Jimmy Zacharie called "Jimmy Hawaiienne", or "Jimmy ya Mwanga", as well as Dégringotch, who were Central African guitarist-singers coming back home after having Strongly act to build the foundation of the Congolese music.

These dinosaurs taught him the fundamental bases from the musical richness which he continued to enrich by his own studies, efforts and experiments.

The added value of this lesson was worth to him to be pointed out very quickly (and very early also) from the Central African musical people.

Thus after the Vibro-Jazz, he joined the African-Muziki group in 1981, and "l'Arc-en-ciel Universel" (the Universal Rainbow) of Malao Hennecy in 1984 with the large Central African guitarists Socks Sokambi and N’Djogo Massely.

When Malao Hennecy left the Central African Republic once again at the early beginning of 1986 for Gabon, the orchestra changed its statutes.

And it took the preexistent name of "Vox-Negra" (the Negros voice) created by Sir André Kolingba the former Président of the Central African Republic (from 1981 to 1993), while he still was a Central African Republic army Officer.

This allowed the band to preserve the rows and prerogatives of "State's Orchestra" from the time of "the Universal Rainbow". N’Djogo Massely became the President of the band, and Le Bombardier (The Bomber) Katiki occupied the Chief Executive Officer's position from 1986 to 1987.

Large talented and recognized bass player of his State, he recorded with the aforementioned group (Vox-Negra) an ethnic tube in 1986 heading "Basse-Kotto 86" or commonly called "Gbadouma Andélé", which did one crowned national tobacco and remained in annals of the Central African Republic music.

From 1987 to 1988 he joined the Makembé orchestra of George Ferreira, at the sides of Saladin Ferreira and Faustino Ngoïta to reinforce the defensive team. But he was called back in Vox-Negra in 1988 (always State's Orchestra at this time) till his departure for France in 1991 to continue studies in International Trade Master.

On the extra-national plan, he played for certain great names of central african musicians such as Ekambi Brillant ["Shining Ekambi"] (1985) and Alidjo Baba (1987) from Cameroun, Koffi Olomidé (1989), Bozi Boziana (1991), and Evoloko Jocker (2004-2005) from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Oliver Ngoma (1992) from Gabon. To just quote here only these because the list is very long!

After several hesitations between his position as Expert book-keeper certified in Business Process Management and this one of musician, he finally decided to choose the last and to work it seriously.

He comes on to us with his very first album titled "Point d'interrogation" (Question mark), totally auto-produced, and auto-recorded, and fully executed, and auto-edited by himself!
