“A Genuine Band with a Genuine Sound”
Lebowski are a loud, balls to the wall rock band, they have been writing and playing music in their native Dublin for the last 3 years. John, Stuart, J and Buzz are 4 complainers who like to tell it like it is. They pride themselves on the originality and energy of their music.
The band has been working tirelessly for the last year on their debut CD “Lebowski” which is due for launch in September 2006. The CD is funded entirely by the band and has been independently produced by them.
Lebowski’s intensity on stage electrifies and captures the imagination of the audience with lyrics that are soulful and honest. Their influences include “The Kings of Leon” and “Queens of the Stone Age”. They make statements through their music and actually say something meaningful! They don’t claim to reinvent the wheel they make it spin differently.
Lebowski have been gigging hard on the Dublin scene and have played to capacity crowds in Whelans, Crawdaddy and the Sugar Club. They are playing across the country throughout the summer of 2006 including Poxegen and Leechrum outdoor festivals.
