Greenville, South Carolina Lecherous Nocturne has redefined brutality with their insanely structured technical death metal destruction. AUDITORY ABUSE Lecherous Nocturne is a five-piece; extreme-metal band formed in late 1997 by guitarists Christian Lofgren, Chris Lollis, and vocalist Jason Hohenstein. Fusing together technical influence from many early death metal pioneers such as Gorguts and Morbid Angel, extreme black metal ala Marduk and Emperor, a few touches of grindcore, and lyrical themes ranging from war, to sick S&M fascination. The band has just released their crushing, self titled, self-financed debut EP which has been causing a stir in the underground, all the while destroying everything in their path live providing opening support for such national acts as IMMOLATION, NILE, INCANTATION, KREATOR, DESTRUCTION, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, GOATWHORE, KRISIUN, CONFESSOR, ANGELCORPSE, FEAR FACTORY, MACABRE and SUPERJOINT RITUAL. Establishing themselves as a Local heavyweight in extreme metal, and obtaining a loyal following in the ever expanding southeastern scene. The LN lineup is now in it's most solid form ever, with the addition of Bassist Joe Payne and drummer Nile Guitarist Dallas Toller Wade, and currently playing live shows throughout the east coast and writing the follow up material for the new full-length album due in 2005, which promises to be one of the most original, extreme-metal releases ever unleashed onto the underground scene.
