Bio

Get down on your knees and pray! For the Rock Gods have done it once again by putting together four of the baddest muthafukas from three of the hottest bands ever to grace the stages of The Big Easy! New Orleans own John Rincon on guitars, formerly of the band "Overtone", Jeremy "13" Young on bass, Mike Anglin on drums both formerly of "Merry-Go-Drown" and former "Shanni Sane?" vocalist Lee Aguilar make up the all-star lineup that is "Whiskey and a Revolver!" Their sound best described simply as "Straight The Fuck Up Rock & Roll." Influenced by bands such as G&R, Temple of the Dog, Down, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Mother Love Bone, Sabbath and Jeff Buckley just to name a few. It all started in May of 2006 when the four locals were doing the best they could to get their lives back in order after a certain bitch by the name of Katrina bulldozed through their hometown making the idea of starting a serious project seem a little too far out of reach. But everything happens for a reason and with a new outlook on life and how fast it could all be taken away, making it happen was a must! All four musicians had at one time or another started projects together in the past that never amounted to much. This couldn't be further from the truth this go round. Crazy as it may have seemed at the time the reality of what came out the rehearsal room and onto what became a short lived unfinished demo, due to the instant public demands for a full length LP, was a magic they had only dreamed of making! Everything seemed to be working out in favor of the band and "Whiskey and a Revolver" became top priority for all four members. Soon they realized they had the full 150% package every aspiring rock band dreams of. They have the chops, gear, the image but most importantly they all find themselves in a band in which every member has the same goals and dedication that their previous bands have lacked! Make no doubt about it "Whiskey and a Revolver" is sure to be at the top of any and every real rock fans favorites list in the very near future. A band like this doesn't come around everyday. Filled to the rim with heart, soul, big balls, and even bigger guitar solos, "Whiskey and a Revolver" looks to be one of the most promising bands of this year. With such hook laden no-brainer soon to be classics such as "Lonely Condition", "Open Road", "Do It Again" and "Take The Blame" what could possibly keep this rock fans wet dream from nationally recognized super stardom?.......................... Absolutely nothing! With a self-titled album dropping early Sept. 2006 and a tour kicking off thereafter, "Whiskey and a Revolver" plan on taking the world over one stage at a time! Make sure not to miss these guys live! They rock harder than hell and they're coming to a stage somewheres near you! The question asked most in the world of rock has finally got an answer, "Will Rock & Roll Ever Die?" As long as "Whiskey and a Revolver" has anything to do with it "NEVER!"
