Bio
Leela has played at many venues in Toronto, performing as a solo artist as well as with a full band. She has spent many years studying voice throughout school as well as with vocal teacher David Iouannou through Overholt Enterprises. She has taken multiple songwriting courses lead by some of Canada's most celebrated songwriters including Blair Packham, Greg Nori as well as with Ron Sexmith, Dan Hill, Rick Emmit.
Leela she wrote and recorded tracks with acclaimed producer David Tyson (Amanda Marshall) in summer 2012. Since then she has been refining material for her debut EP, to be released in spring 2013 and playing shows around Toronto, gaining a loyal following of fans.
