Baltimore born and bred, Lee Mitty, discovered her passion for music at an early age. Her love for music lyrics would have her replaying her favorite songs obsessively so that she could transcribe the words exactly right. Inspired by artists from N.E.R.D and Outkast to Pusha T and Kanye West, Lee started penning her own rhymes following a freestyle session with a close friend. In realizing that music was her purpose, Lee jumped all the way into the game in 2014 when she started releasing a number of well received singles through early 2016. Mitty’s sound is undeniably emotive, hypnotic and groove-driven laced with introspective, honest lyrics. “My music is a little conscious and a little ignorant…Much like myself.”
Lee has been featured in BeatStars “Top 10” in their SongStar 4 contest with Jahlil Beats as well as featured on AllHipHop.com, YouHeardThatNew.com, HipHopSince1987.com and a host of other media outlets.
