Bio
Originally from Montreal, singer/songwriter Lee Villaire calls Massachusetts home for nearly ten years. With 5 CDs to her credit, her songs have won Honorable Mentions in the international Unisong and Billboard songwriting competitions, and have garnered airplay on college radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Two songs from her latest CD “Curious” were selected as part of “The Best of 2010”, on Cape Cod’s Pixy 103FM Homegrown radio program.
Prior to releasing her own solo CDs, Lee had written songs for blues legend Bob Walsh, Scottish country band Evangeline, and rocker Alain Paquette.
Now in pre-production to record her 6th CD, Lee is working with the same bandmates who’ve been with her for several years, cream-of-the crop players from the area including Kris Lucander on bass, Rich Buck on drums, Adam Bergeron on keyboard and Rosalfonso Bortoni on lead guitar. This polished, high-energy band has performed with Lee at major venues including Tammany Hall in Worcester, The Middle East in Boston, Bourbon Street West in Montreal and The Bull Run in Shirley, and have dozens of live videos posted on YouTube.
