Bio

Coming from a town with minimum support for the local scene, Left 4 Dead has managed to rise above other unsigned Rockford bands in a relatively short period of time. With a recent sponsorship by Jagermeister , Left 4 Dead attributes their fast growing success to their hard drive and persistence in the music business, their dedication and love for music and most of all their sound. Left 4 Dead agrees they are not your normal everyday band with an unbelievable stage show, pulverizing rhythms, thundering bass lines, fast paced drums and heavy rhythmic, yet melodic vocals appealing to music lovers in all genres of music.

Left 4 dead began in Dec. of 2002 when original drummer Scott McBride, bass player Bill Clark and original guitarist Shane Briggs came together to play a style of high energy in your face metal. Finding the right piece to complete the puzzle was easier than they thought when Shane brought in Bud Powell on lead vocals. Bud’s aggressive, melodic, thought-provoking lyrics brought something incredible to the plate that none of the band thought they would ever find.

The four piece had come together but had some rough edges and didn’t quite fit together until several lineup changes later they found themselves with the baddest group of musicians in the area. Former Heavils drummer Brian Milo, former Loki Guitarists Shaun and Earl , Adam Dezarn on the sampler and Lobes on bass. With the puzzle finally complete, Left 4 Dead is ready to conquer the music scene and take it by surprise. Since their start in 2002 they have played shows ranging from Kentucky to Wisconsin, Iowa to Indiana, they have taken the Midwest by storm and are ready to show the world what their made of.

Left 4 Dead has played with such acts as Slaves on Dope, Agent Zero, The Heavils , No One, 40 Below Summer, Dog Fashion Disco, Lollipop Lust Kill, The Blank Theory, Factory 81, The Pimps, Slitheryn, and many more unbelievably talented bands in such great venues as Quad City Live, Oasis 160, Clearwater Theater, and a ton of great bars that showed them the greatest hospitality around . On all shows no matter where they or who they have played with they have always stuck out above the rest with their incredible stage presence and powerful performance that keeps you coming back for more.

They have been inspired by many bands from many different genres but to name a few is 40 Below Summer, Cypress Hill , Rage Against the Machine, Mudvayne, Darwins Waiting Room, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Left 4 Dead plan to keep pumping out their trademark sound far into the century.
Their sound is unique and certainly their own.
