Biography

Ricihe, Bryce, Maggie and Garrett met in middle school. Out of there mutual desier to play music and their same liking of bands like Evanescence, Green Day, Rise Against, Disturbed and Rush. Starting on May 28th 2010 they had a few practices, but around November of 2011 they really got serious and had two shows by the end of the year and planning more. The band got serious and learned many cover songs and has to date written three original songs. Out of Bryces leadership, Maggies ideas and musical knowledge, Richies fast learning and Garretts drum prodigyness, Left Exit practiced and now are what you see and hear today.

Maggie Dolan-
I had always loved music. When I was little, I was actually into Brittany Spears, Hilary Duff, and other pop musicians. But when I was six, my brother introduced me to the band Evanescence, and my whole idea of music changed. From then on I was converted to rock, metal, and punk music. That same year, my parents bought us a keyboard. No one in my house played piano; they just bought it for the fun of it, I guess. But every now and then, I would stop by the piano and just mess around on it, and pretty soon I had learned Bach's Minuet in G major.
When I was 6.
By ear.
No sheet music. That's when my parents decided it was time to get me lessons.
I took piano lessons for about 8 years, but then stopped to try to learn more songs on my own. When I was around 12 or 13, I started to learn guitar.
Joining Left Exit was one of the best decisions I ever made. I live and breathe music, and it's even more amazing when you have people to share it with. My favorite quote from Victor Hugo is "Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent."

Bryce Fender-
Well..for me it started way back in 5th grade. I had never been a music fan. But 5th grade was when I really sat down and listend to a Beatle's song. I was in love. Before I knew it, I was in love with music, obsessing over my two favorite bands, The Beatles and Green Day.
Christmas of 2009 was a life changing year. My brother got his first guitar. Not me, my brother. The thing sat in his room. I would sneak in his room and mess with it. I got yelled at countless times for being in there when I wasnt supposed to, but before I knew it, I could play guitar. The next christmas I got my first acoustic and I went from there to where I am today, with only three months of lessons. I also started singing because i always thought it would be boring to just play guitar. I've been working on my singing for about two years.
I was the second to join Left Exit, so I could say I'm a co-founder. Me and the other co-founder got Garrett and Richie to join. Eventually the other co-founder left the band and we recruited Maggie. A little short of two years later, here we are today, finally getting going. I consider Left Exit to have been a band sense November 2011, that's when we started playing together. I'm out,

Richie Kimball-
My family got a piano when I was 7 so my brother and I could start to take lessons. When I was 9 I got a drum set for Christmas and started to play the drums. In 4th grade I played in the school band briefly but didn’t like the atmosphere. In 5th grade I started taking drum lessons that went until I was in 8th grade. For Christmas when I was 12 I got an acoustic-electric guitar and started to self-teach myself how to play. Then for my 13th birthday I got my first bass (a four string). I was the last of the original four to join Left Exit. And through my excellent judgment I brought Maggie into the band. But the rest of the band said no then realized two months later that we needed her. Then Christmas of 2010 I got a five string bass so that we could start to play Evanescence songs. Then in 2011 I started to play my grandmothers banjo. I also got new harmonicas to use for the band. And in 2012 I started to play my grandmothers accordion.

Garrett Wulbrecht-
None. Yet.

Lyrics

This is Our Goodbye

Written By: Bryce Fender

This is our goodbye
Why can’t you stay, and, teach me to live like you?
It’s only three years
Till you can teach me to live like you do

Now I have to let this go, its tearing me apart
I’m sorry you can’t stay and fix this wound

Don’t let this be farewell
I can’t really take this pain that’s in my heart
We will be together soon
You will never know what’s in your way

Now I have to let this go, its tearing me apart
I’m sorry you can’t stay and fix tThis is our goodbye
Why can’t you stay and teach me to live like you
It’s only three years
Till you can teach me to live like you do

Don’t let this be farewell
I can’t really take this pain that’s in my heart
We will be together soon
You will never know what’s in your way
(Solo)

Well this isn’t the end
I know that we, will be, together soon
And maybe then
You can teach me to live like you do
Like you do
Like you do
Like you do

I’m wakin’ up starting to realize
Maybe life’s worth more than something you have to hide
We all make mistakes and that’s lifes given
Wether troubles be made that’s your decision

And it makes me sad, ‘Cus I feel bad
I put up with this, For the past two years
You weren’t worth my time, All I got was lies
And now that your gone, I’m glad I said goodbye

Now im gone, you had your shot
You can’t take back, whats been done
And I just can’t ignore the fact
That you’re with him and its all so soon
We all have our ups and downs
Giving you my heart wasn’t good enough for you!

And it makes me sad, ‘Cus I feel bad
I put up with this, For the past two years
You weren’t worth my time, All I got was lies
And now that your gone, I’m glad I said goodbye
