When two old band mates with similar musical styles and the passion to become professional musicians reunited, Left for Daze was born. Joe (vocals) and Mattie (drums) created this band with the intentions of becoming a national act. They called on the talents of Johnny for his bass guitar to provide the backbone rhythms for the band. Fate, and the internet, brought Gaku and Guilermo with their unparalleled guitar riffs. Lastly, Deirdre with a background in classical musical, adds a little style and class to the band on her keyboard. Together they are working on their nearly completed debut album, which is planned for release in Summer ’07. Each member brings their own unique talents and skills to the song production process, whether it be lyrical writing, forming structures, groovey basslines, or crazy beats. The band took their inspirations from such artists as Dave Matthews Band, Cold Play, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers, T.O.P., Dave Weckle Band, James Brown, and many more.
