The current set of musicians formed in November 2007, and have been consistently booked most weekends since January 1, 2008.
The band is built around a firm base of a good, solid set list and backed up by solid vocals and musicians that take pride in not just playing a song, but playing it as close to the original as possible.
The members of Left of Center are not just a group, but a family of musicians that not only play together, but have fun doing it. Crowd participation and satisfaction is our goal; and a goal we achieve consistently.
We have diverse influences, as we came together from many different walks of life. From Stevie Ray Vay and Lynyrd Skynyrd to Luther Vandross and Brad Paisley. We have taken a little from many different genres.
There are two things that set us apart from other bands. The first is being able to play a classic rock song and follow it up with a country song, doing both incredible well. Our music is not overpowering, and our vocals are crisp. The second is that we actually entertain. Our vocalist move around on stage, go out into the crowd and sing to them, or get them singing with us.
