Overall melodic vocals, reminscent of The Beatles, combined with more contemporary rhythmic patterns similar to those presented by Counting Crows, John Mayer, Sister Hazel or Barenaked Ladies. Guitar solos are melodic and experimental, similar to the work of Mark Knopfler or David Immergluck. Guitar rhythms are bluesy with hints of jazz and funk perforating the music. Bass lines are punchy with a strong sense of movement, emulating 70s funk combined with retro-rock. The melodic keyboard sections range from delicate/decorative piano to 70s-style rock organ--similar to Donald Fagan's work with Steely Dan crossed with the loose style of Ben Folds. The percussion is a unique combination of rock drumming combined with fundaments from funk and blues playing. All four members grew up listening to classic music and have angled their song-writing in that direction.
