Bio
Starting at the age of 12, I learned how to play the acoustic/electric guitar. Influenced heavily by Dave Matthews, Led Zepplin, and Outkast, I set out to create my own style of funk with a realistic touch of improv. The event that changed my life to music was that I lost my left leg to cancer. The upside: I walk with a prosthetic and can be me just fine. After some hard years of learning the ins, playing side shows and small community festivals, college arose. Scene: Univeristy of Florida. My sound took a turn for the future when I developed a great deal of love for Keller Williams, Del the Funky Homosapien, Gorillaz, The Roots, G Love and Special Sauce...Deciding to dedicate my time to music, I traveled to Philly, Detriot, New York, Atlanta to delve into my own world and create what is now what I call The Mandarin Legacy.
