Bio
Hailing from Seattle, Legal Lies began as a movement fusing together elements of rock, reggae, and hip hop. Each member of Legal Lies carries their own unique style to the mixture: Miketron has studied music on both coasts, from jazz to rock; since high school, Ken has been playing in various bands giving him ample stage experience; Not only can Steve maneuver himself comfortably on the bass, he has also made a name for himself in local ska bands wielding a trumpet; equipped with a pen and a pad, Art of Verse strives to develop his skills as an emcee; with a rock and funk background, Jeff has been playing drums for 20 years; bringing in the scratches, Dee Jay Eezus rounds off this irie collective, and A.K fills in the rest with his percussion grooves.
The main goal of Legal Lies is to promote peace, love, and understanding, progressively through the Most High, music. Legal Lies expects their debut release, "Herb & Legend," to be out sometime in May 2008. Work has already begun on their sophomore effort.
