Kendra Legare is a native New Yorker carrying an ethnical Caribbean cocktail described in the future Caribbean anthem – “Island Girls”. She is available for record, management and publishing deals.
It was her volunteer work in Papua New Guinea that taught her real lessons in cultural diversity. Her songs are reflections of her life and in her own words, “My musical style is ‘eclectic soul’ because whether R&B, pop, Jazz, AAA, country, world or folk…it’s all done with soulful R&B verve.”
Kendra is a 3-time winner of the 2005 VHI Song of the Year Contest (March 2005 - Finalist R&B for the song "Is He Gonna Treat Me Right?"; June 2005 Finalist R&B for the song "Love's Back In Control" and Winner /World in August, 2005 for "Island Girls". Currently Kendra is writing songs for up & coming producer Sky Michaels.

Kendra is a musical prosody of inner city meeting mountain country and beyond. A native New Yorker, raised in the Bronx. Her songs are reflections of her life (Is He Gonna Treat Me Right? Reminds Me of You) and capture our need to forget and live in the moment (Tomorrows Starting Now/Are You Ready for A Lady?) or deal with issues (What Does It Mean?, The Neighborhood). In her own words, My musical style is eclectic soul because whether R&B, pop, Jazz, blues, AAA, country, world or folk its all done with a soulful R&B verve.
