Composer and Clarinetist of the grand orchesre armorigene, Michel Aumont started a musical career 25 years ago.He met and played with many musicians as Louis Sclavis et "le quintet de clarinet", Sylvain Kassap, Annie Ebrel, Denez Pigent and recently Dominique A.

The adventure of the Armorigene history begins in 2007-2008 with the creation of « ArmorigènE » trio.
This experiment features Michel Aumont with the two initial musicians of the Grand Orchestre ArmorigènE (Dominique Le Bozec on drums and Laurent Genty on piano).
In 2009, the second part of the orchestra appears, with another trio “Armorivielle project”.
This original group features two other musicians (Valentin Clastrier and Marc Anhony) famous hurdy-gurdy players known as extra-ordinary sound makers and the bass clarinet, for a 21st armorigènE century.
In 2010, two more musicians join the band: Mathieu Letournel on tuba and Grégoire Hennebelle on violin. The wind bass joins the rhythm section piano-drums, while the violin takes place in the hurdy-gurdy string ensemble.
The first album released in marche 2012.
