LEIF AND THE FUTURE

Extensive radioplay on national P3 in Norway followed by an hectic festival summer playing HOVE, Klubb-ØYA and GISKE, Leif & The Future was quickly established on the Norwegian music scene with their dark and dancy pop. Injuiced with analogue synthisizers, chorusladen guitars and worldinspired percussion and boasting members from Loch Ness Mouse and Kayzers Orchestra and now replacing the latter with the drummer of A-ha, the band keep making it obvious they are one of Norways most promising pop acts.

”Let you go” was voted as top 3 in ”new acts of the year” (NRK P3/urort) 2010, and with their second single ”You like it better” already an indie-classic (mixed by Nick Terry, Klaxons, Simian Mobile Disco, Libertines), their third single "Walked Away" wasreleased May 13th as a qr-code, as first band in Norway.

Produced by Leif together with Bjarne Stensli from the Oslo indie-scene around bands such as I was a King, Serena Maneesh and Harrys Gym, their anitcipated debutalbum "Songs of Youth" is due to release 23rd of September 2011.

Fall 2011 the band will tour Norway aswell as selected venues in Germany
