Bio
Leigh Franklin returned to New Zealand three years ago after living and performing as a solo artist in London and Australia. Since then she has written and recorded her debut album, due for release in 2013, produced by Kiron J (London) and featuring London based vocalist Joseph Junior on title track "On a Saturday". All songs have an acoustic influence, written and played firstly on acoustic guitar and voice and the instrumentation is all geared towards creating the best support for the songwriting. The band is tight, melodic and the band are hungry for success. Influences range from Bjork to Bon Iver, PJ Harvey to Nick Drake.
